Required Education, Training & Experience
• ARRT certification in MRI (required)
• ARRT certification in CT (strongly preferred)
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in MRI imaging; CT experience a plus
Required Licenses & Certifications
• ARRT Certification in MRI
• ARRT Certification in CT (strongly preferred)
• Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license issued by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) — required for practice in Texas; out-of-state candidates must obtain prior to start
• BLS Certification
• Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Lead and coordinate daily workflow for MRI and CT services
• Assist with developing and maintaining imaging protocols and quality standards
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and infection control policies
• Collaborate with radiologists, referring providers, and administrative staff to optimize patient care
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate service when needed
• Support scheduling efficiency and patient throughput
• Participate in accreditation and quality improvement initiatives
• Perform CT scans (strongly preferred; candidates with CT experience given priority)

We are seeking an experienced Lead MRI Technologist to oversee daily imaging operations and help establish best practices in our new facility. This role combines hands-on scanning responsibilities with leadership duties, including workflow coordination and quality assurance. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, organized, and passionate about delivering outstanding patient care while helping build a strong imaging team from the ground up.
