QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education, Training & Experience
•       ARRT certification in MRI (required)

•       ARRT certification in CT (strongly preferred)

•       Minimum two (2) years of experience in MRI imaging; CT experience a plus

 

Required Licenses & Certifications
•       ARRT Certification in MRI

•       ARRT Certification in CT (strongly preferred)

•       Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license issued by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) — required for practice in Texas; out-of-state candidates must obtain prior to start

•       BLS Certification

RESPONSIBILITIES

•       Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols

•       Lead and coordinate daily workflow for MRI and CT services

•       Assist with developing and maintaining imaging protocols and quality standards

•       Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and infection control policies

•       Collaborate with radiologists, referring providers, and administrative staff to optimize patient care

•       Monitor equipment performance and coordinate service when needed

•       Support scheduling efficiency and patient throughput

•       Participate in accreditation and quality improvement initiatives

•       Perform CT scans (strongly preferred; candidates with CT experience given priority)
