Lead Maintenance Technician

We are a thriving Property Management Company dedicated to providing exceptional living experiences for our residents. We’re seeking a motivated and reliable Assistant Maintenance Technician to join our team and support the overall upkeep and maintenance of our property.

Position Overview:
The Assistant Maintenance Technician will work closely with the Lead Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager to ensure the community is safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role is hands-on and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily maintenance requests and work orders (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, etc.)

• Help with preventive maintenance programs throughout the community

• Assist in maintaining the appearance of the property, including common areas, grounds, and vacant apartments

• Prepare apartments for new residents, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs

• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests as needed

• Assist with maintaining tools, equipment, and maintenance shop in good working order

• Ensure all safety procedures and company policies are followed

Qualifications:

• HVAC Certification required

• Must have own tools

• Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred (apartment/community experience a plus)

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair

• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Bilingual

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and with a team

• Ability to handle physical demands (lifting, bending, climbing ladders, etc.)

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
