HVAC Service Supervisor
Horne Heating & Air Conditioning
Charlotte, NC
Full-Time
Lead technicians. Solve complex problems. Help build the next generation of HVAC professionals.
Horne Heating and Air Conditioning is looking for an experienced HVAC professional ready to step into a leadership role supporting a growing service team. This position is ideal for a senior technician who enjoys troubleshooting difficult systems, mentoring other technicians, and helping a team perform at a higher level.
This role offers a $60,000-$80,000 base salary with an additional $20,000-$40,000 in performance-based earning potential, allowing strong leaders to earn well into the six-figure range while helping the entire service team succeed.
Horne Heating and Air Conditioning has proudly served Charlotte and surrounding communities since 1983. As a family-owned company, we have built a reputation for honest service, dependable solutions, and a strong team culture that values the people who make our success possible.
This is not a desk job. You will stay connected to the field, supporting technicians directly and helping them solve real service challenges.
What You'll Be Doing
As the HVAC Service Field Supervisor, you will serve as the technical leader and field support resource for the service department. You will assist technicians with complex diagnostics, help resolve challenging service calls, and provide hands-on coaching that improves the entire team's performance.
You will work closely with service technicians in the field, helping them build confidence and sharpen their troubleshooting abilities. Your experience will help guide technicians through difficult situations while maintaining the high standards our customers expect.
This role also includes leading in-person training during team meetings, sharing best practices, and helping technicians continue developing their skills. Your leadership will directly impact technician growth, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
Who This Role Is Perfect For
This opportunity is ideal for experienced HVAC professionals who enjoy helping others succeed and naturally step in to support teammates.
It is especially well-suited for senior technicians who are often the person others call when they get stuck on a difficult service call. Lead technicians who already mentor newer team members or help troubleshoot complex issues will find this role to be a natural next step in their career.
If you enjoy staying involved in the field while influencing the performance of the entire service team, this role offers the opportunity to make that impact.
