Tactical Aerospace is a prime supplier for aerospace and avionic quality technology on new and legacy defense systems. We design and build complex electronic systems, provide test systems, maintain/provide field support, and create Neuromorphic Computing AI.
Objectives of this Role:
- Lead and coordinate technicians and work with Management, Program Management, and engineers in the production of LRU's and test systems.
- Analyze/ set up/lay out production flows for complex electronic LRU's and lead/coordinate the production of complex electronic LRU's/systems/sub-systems/test equipment.
- Tasks will also include testing, trouble shooting and reworking PCBA's.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage the supply chain.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Lead production, rework, assembly, and test of complex electronic systems/LRU's/ PCBA's.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage parts/components as necessary.
- Perform assembly and test tasks.
- Perform PCBA component soldering to IPC standards, trouble shoot circuits/PCBA's, work with suppliers as necessary.
- Manage all parts, assemblies, components for the department.
- Obtain quotes and create P.O.'s.
- Lay out production flows and lead the technicians to meet production schedule and budgets.
Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, or Applied Technology. In lieu of Bachelors degree 25 years of experience, a high school education or equivalent and continued education/certifications and work experience is required.
- Shift work required
- 10+ years: Experience in assembly and test of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA's). Shown ability to trouble shoot PCBA failures.
- Soldering to IPC Standards.
- Leading others and PCBA production experience. ERP/MRB knowledge. Ability to coordinate with vendors.
- Experience with lab test equipment (power supplies, DMM, oscilloscopes, etc).
- A valid/clear driver's license is required.

- Intelligent Systems-Providing engineering services in resaerch and development of complex systems and equipment.
- Mechanical Engineering-Improving safety, reliability, efficiency and life of new or existing mechanical components or systems.
