QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements: A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field and at least 2 years of experience as a Lead Early Childhood Teacher. A passion for early childhood education, leadership skills, commitment to nurturing environments, and alignment with our core values. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide high-quality education and care by developing and implementing a developmentally
appropriate program for children.
2. Supervise a classroom team consisting of a Teacher, a Teacher Assistant, and an Aide.
3. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for young children, engage in positive
verbal interactions during daily routines, and promote positive self-esteem.
4. Maintain an orderly arrangement, appearance, and learning environment within the classroom.
5. Develop and implement daily schedules, lesson plans, and classroom management techniques using
the program curriculum for whole groups, small groups, and individual children.
6. Implement family-style dining practices during children's mealtimes.
7. Protect the health and safety of children by sanitizing the environment as required, inspecting
classrooms and playgrounds for health and safety hazards, and administering first aid as needed.
8. Utilize appropriate direct and indirect guidance strategies to manage behavior.
9. Observe each child for developmental milestones and create portfolios and records of their growth.
10. Attend and participate in parent conferences, encourage daily communication about children's
progress, and implement learning opportunities to address individual learning goals.
11. Complete center forms that document incidents and accidents, child medication, diaper changes,
attendance, meal counts, and other relevant information.
12. Review journals and literature to provide the team and Center with current information on strategies
for working with preschool children and suggest procedural improvements.
13. Summarize, prepare, and distribute researched information and suggestions for use by the team, center
staff, and professional personnel.
14. Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and other work-related functions.
15. Actively participate in or attend specialized activities, events, projects, and committees to enhance
servant leadership within the Center and the community.
16. Promote a culture of safety and environmental protection by working safely, immediately reporting
unsafe situations, spills, and accidents, following the Center's safety plans and procedures, and
participating in relevant safety training.
17. Demonstrate Future Leaders' core values: Integrity, Excellence, Inclusiveness, Respect,
Collaboration, and Innovation.
18. Perform other duties as assigned by the President/Center Director.

The Lead Early Childhood Teacher will be responsible for fulfilling the mission of FUTURE LEADERS LEARNING CENTER, LLC. Her duties will include researching and developing engaging lesson plans, as well as providing group and individual instruction by established curriculum guidelines. The teacher must aim to promote students' intellectual, social, and
physical growth, thereby contributing to their overall development and achievement.
