Serves clients and visitors by greeting and referring them; notifying staff member of their arrival; maintaining reception room security and appearance.
Duties:
- Welcomes clients and visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; transferring calls; answering or referring inquiries.
- Helps potential clients by screening type of inquiry; transferring call to legal assistant.
- Maintains reception areas by straightening up; requesting help for potential security issues; telephone equipment.
- Keeps telephone equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
- Updates appointment and location schedules by inputting data.
- Supports attorneys by following-up on "no show" appointments; preparing files for new clients.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Accomplishes law firm mission by completing related results as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
