Law Firm Billing + Office Manager (On‑Site - Alameda, CA)

Our law firm client is seeking a detail‑oriented professional to manage all firm financial operations, billing, and accounting functions. This role oversees (billing, general ledger, trust accounting), payroll, reporting, and day‑to‑day financial administration. This is a contract-hire opportunity and 100% onsite.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage billing through TABS3; coordinate with LSS, LegalX, and other billing partners
* Oversee general checking, trust accounting, and yearly trust certifications
* Track firm and case‑related invoices; maintain cost‑advance records in PracticeMaster
* Process payroll twice monthly through ADP
* Prepare monthly and weekly financial reports (Excel + TABS3)
* Complete monthly bank reconciliations
* Create and update case budgets in Excel
* Track settlement checks and maintain accurate logs
* Handle insurance renewals, applications, and proof‑of‑coverage requests
* Manage firm finances: credit cards, rent, supplies, postage, mail runs
* Support 401K administration
* Track bar dues and licensing renewals
* Work closely with CPA for fiscal year‑end

Requirements:
* Strong accounting/financial administration experience (law firm experience preferred)
* Proficiency with TABS3, PracticeMaster, ADP, and Excel
* High accuracy, organization, and follow‑through
* Ability to manage confidential information
* Comfortable working independently and handling a wide range of financial tasks
