Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated Landscaping Project Manager to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion. This role requires a high level of expertise in managing resources, schedules, budgets, and risks to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. The successful candidate should have a strong background in construction management, project management, and customer service, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Review and interpret project blueprints and technical documents to prepare budgets, schedules, and plans.
3. Use CAD and AutoCAD software for design and project management.
4. Conduct site management activities including coordinating workers, materials, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
5. Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure project meets set standards.
6. Carry out cost control activities to ensure project profitability.
7. Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
8. Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
9. Develop strategic plans to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.
10. Provide customer service, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
11. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
12. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction project management role.
3. Proficiency in CAD, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
4. In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
5. Excellent knowledge of construction contract management and negotiation.
6. Strong knowledge of construction project scheduling and budgeting.
7. Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
8. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
9. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
10. Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage a diverse range of activities in a high-pressure environment.
11. Knowledge of relevant rules and regulations, including safety standards.
12. Professional Project Management (PMP) certification is a plus.
