Maintain property appearance, lead field teams, manage schedules, support bids and budgeting, and ensure consistent landscaping quality.Key Responsibilities
Lead & Support Teams
- Supervise Landscaping Leads and Specialists
- Coach, mentor, and train team members
- Provide real-time guidance and problem-solving
- Share updates with the Director of Property Services
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, and seasonal planning
- Purchase materials with approval
- Manage daily, weekly, and seasonal schedules
- Ensure consistent presentation standards
- Troubleshoot landscaping and irrigation issues
- Oversee mowing, weeding, pruning, planting, mulching, irrigation repairs
- Use technology for tracking, documentation, and planning
- Track materials and equipment needs
- Assist with budgeting and contractor planning
- Solicit bids and review proposals
- Prepare bid comparisons and recommendations
- Support contract execution
- Provide input on plant selection and landscape planning
- Liaison between field teams and leadership
- Coordinate with property management
- Provide daily/weekly schedule and progress updates
- Communicate weather impacts and adjustments
- 5+ years landscaping or grounds experience (preferred)
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Business acumen; experience with budgets, bids, and contracts
- Comfortable with technology and project tools
- Knowledge of landscaping equipment, irrigation, and plant care
- Valid driver’s license
