Landscape Laborer

Location: Middletown, PA (serving Lancaster, Harrisburg, & Surrounding Areas)

We do not lay off in the winter. Our teams transition into commercial snow operations and equipment/facility maintenance during the off-season. Entry/developing role supporting landscape installs and maintenance with clear expectations and growth path.

Responsibilities

• Trimming, edging, mulching, planting
• General landscape maintenance
• Operate basic power equipment
• Snow Removal in Winter. This may include overnight, early mornings, and extended shifts during snow events.

Requirements

• 6 or more months to 1 year of outdoor/landscape experience preferred
• High School Education, 6 months to 1 year of outdoor/landscape experience. 
• Ability to read plans and manage production timelines
• Math and measuring skills
• Experience driving a pickup truck/trailer combo is required.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Background check upon conditional offer of employment
• Smartphone/data device capability for field communication
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions

Pay & Benefits

• Full-time, W-2 year-round employment with snow work in the winter
• Pay: $18 to $22/hr, based on experience
• Overtime
• Paid Vacation - 80 hours annually, with an additional 8 hours at 1 year of employment. (maxing at 120 hours after 5 years)
• Unpaid Vacation - 80 hours annually 
• Paid Sick time - 24 hours annually 
• Health Insurance Reimbursement - one-half of the monthly cost up to $150
• 401K Match - 100% match on the first 3%, 0.5% on the next 2% contributed for a total of 4% match on 5% contribution
• Paid Holidays - New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve day
• Employee Referral Bonus Program
• Uniform Program - covers 50% of the weekly rental cost (employee contribution is optional and not required for the job)
