Job Details
We are seeking a motivated Land Use Attorney to support and grow our Real Estate, Land Use & Redevelopment practice. The ideal candidate will have experience working with municipal processes and land use approvals and will be comfortable managing matters from application through resolution.
Responsibilities include:
Representing clients before planning boards, zoning boards, and municipal governing bodies
Preparing and prosecuting applications for site plans, subdivisions, variances, and redevelopment approvals
Drafting and reviewing ordinances, resolutions, development agreements, and related land use documents
Advising clients on zoning, redevelopment law, MLUL, and municipal regulations
Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda, applications, and correspondence
Attending public hearings, meetings, and client conferences
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active New Jersey Bar admission
Experience in land use, zoning, planning, or redevelopment law
Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines independently
