Land Development Drafter

Nesco Resource is seeking a skilled and motivated Land Development CAD Drafter to join our clients growing team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineers to produce detailed drafting and design work for various land development projects, including residential, commercial, municipal, and industrial developments.
Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and Design:
  • Use CAD software to create detailed drawings, plans, and maps for land development, including grading, paving, utilities, stormwater management, zoning, profiles, cross sections, and other project-specific details.
  • Work closely with engineers, architects, and surveyors to ensure accurate technical drawings and interpret project specifications and sketches.
  • Integrate topographic data, survey information, and engineering designs into drafting work.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure all drafted plans comply with local zoning regulations, building codes, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Stay informed of changes in regulations and codes to maintain compliance in drafting work.
• Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of drafting work with project requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to understand project objectives, deadlines, and specific needs.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct thorough reviews of drafts to identify and correct any errors or inconsistencies.
