Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: Monroeville, PA 15146
Pay Rate: $23/hr (W2)
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Job Description:
Under direct supervision, performs a variety of routine laboratory operations in a quality assurance or research setting.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare samples and perform measurements
- Conduct routine quantitative and qualitative chemical analytical tests as per standard procedures
- Assist senior technicians in setting up laboratory equipment
- Record data for experiments and procedures
- Use various laboratory instruments to prepare and perform tests
- Perform routine safety checks and preventive maintenance on instruments
- 0–5 years of experience (Entry-level)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of chemistry (courses preferred)
- Experience with safe chemical handling and record keeping/reporting preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools preferred
