Laboratory Technician I

Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: 440 College Park Drive Monroeville, PA 15146

Duration: 1 year contract on W2

Rate: $20/hr on W2

Shift Schedule: First shift (Tue - Sat)

Description-

• Under supervision, monitor the process and conditions of 20 L laboratory scale reactors and other equipment according to a planned schedule and procedures.
• Document and communicate observations and conditions of reactors to technical staff on an as needed basis.
• Knowledge in operating laboratory pumps and glass reactors is preferred. Reliability and ability to communicate are key skills desired.
• Prior experience in laboratories not needed but desirable

• Laboratory Technician role - typical 8 hour work days but Tuesday - Saturday is preferred. Looking for someone who has experience with pumps and laboratory equipment.

• 40 hours a week guaranteed. Willingness to work Saturday shifts is a strong need the team would like to fill with this role.
