Laboratory Technician

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a biotech company in the Durham area who is hiring a Laboratory Technician to join their team. This is a contract opportunity lasting through the end of 2026, working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and prepare tubing sets and materials for scaffold production
- Wrap and stage materials for autoclaving and sterilization
- Set up lab stations prior to scaffold launches
- Perform post‑run take down activities, including disassembly and material handling
- Remove and weld off components as required
- Take photos and record basic notes for documentation
- Prepare routine lab solutions as scheduled
- Maintain strict aseptic technique and lab cleanliness standards
- Support increased scaffold production from one to two days per week
Requirement:
- Experience working in a laboratory or clean/controlled environment
- Strong understanding of and attention to aseptic technique
- Ability to perform repetitive, hands‑on tasks consistently
- Comfort following established procedures and instructions
- Basic documentation skills (notes, photos)
- Education requirement: AS or BS Degree Preferred. HS Degree with experience will be considered.
