Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Labor & Employment Associate to join our reputable legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing legal advice and support on a wide range of labor and employment law matters. The successful candidate will have a strong background in employment law, including but not limited to, matters related to harassment, termination, dispute resolution, wage issues, and drafting of legal documents. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of labor and employment law matters, including but not limited to harassment, termination, dispute resolution, and wage issues.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, policies, procedures, and other legal documents.
3. Represent the organization in labor and employment disputes, including mediations, arbitrations, and litigation.
4. Conduct legal research and analysis to stay up-to-date on current labor and employment law trends and developments.
5. Collaborate with the legal team and other departments to develop and implement effective labor and employment law strategies.
6. Provide training and education to the organization on labor and employment law matters.
7. Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor and employment laws and regulations.
8. Work closely with Human Resources and management to address and resolve employee issues and disputes.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in the state.
3. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in labor and employment law.
4. Extensive knowledge and understanding of labor and employment laws and regulations.
5. Proven experience in handling labor and employment law matters, including harassment, termination, dispute resolution, wage issues, and drafting of legal documents.
6. Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and dispute resolution skills.
7. Strong research and analytical skills.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
