Our client, a leading consumer products company, is seeking a Laboratory Technician – Cleansing Formulations to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Technical Services Department supporting the R&D and QA Teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Laboratory Technician (5-month contract)
Location: Trumbull, CT
Pay Range: $25/hr
What’s the Job?
- Test cleansing formulations and evaluate product characteristics using established procedures.
- Collect, record, and summarize data in lab notebooks and electronic systems (Excel/Word).
- Document production of liquid cleansing products and maintain FDA-compliant paper files by year.
- Unpack, lift, label, and set up new Henkel products in temperature-controlled chambers; file returned products appropriately.
- Create detailed documentation and reports using Henkel-approved forms and charts.
What’s Needed?
- Experience in laboratory testing or formulation evaluation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and reporting.
- Ability to lift and handle product materials safely.
- Familiarity with FDA documentation standards is a plus.
