Lab Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join one of our client in Houston. The successful candidate will assist in the daily operations of their laboratory, working with chemicals and laboratory glassware to support ongoing research, testing, or production work. This role requires availability on weekends and a strong commitment to safety and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle and prepare chemical solutions according to standard protocols
• Use and maintain laboratory glassware and other equipment
• Accurately record data and maintain laboratory records
• Assist with routine experiments and testing procedures
• Follow all lab safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized workspace
• Support other lab staff with ongoing projects and operational needs

• Willingness and availability to work on weekends
• Basic understanding of laboratory safety procedures
• Ability to work with chemicals and handle laboratory glassware

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field
• Prior laboratory experience in an academic, research, or industrial setting

• Safety training will be provided
• Position may require standing for long periods and lifting moderately heavy items
