Lab Technician 0002013

Training Week: Day starts around 8:00-8:30

After, there is some flexibility around the general 8:00-4:00 hours

40 hours/ week with no OT. This job will include lab work, measuring accurately with scale, operating somewhat complex equipment while following safety and work instructions, keeping work place clean, good reading, testing and observational skills. This is a powder coatings laboratory.

Performs laboratory tests or other laboratory work using conventional and computerized machines and work aids.

Performs laboratory work and tests according to prescribed standards.

Determines chemical and physical characteristics or composition.

Sets up, readjusts, and operates laboratory equipment and instruments.

Usual requirement is two years of post secondary education in field of specialty; however, some companies may accept equivalent education and experience combined.
