Laboratory Medical Technologist

Mississippi State Hospital will accept applications until noon, Tuesday, April 7, 2026, for the purpose of hiring one (1) full-time contract worker to provide laboratory medical technology services RFx 3150006775. The applicant must have the following minimum qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four year college or university in  Medical Laboratory Technology, Bacteriology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field and certification as a medical technologist/clinical laboratory scientist by a recognized certification agency and two years’ work related experience or An Associate’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or closely related degree; and four  years of work related experience and certification as a medical technologist/clinical laboratory scientist .  Contracts will begin on or around July 1, 2026, and end June 30, 2027, with rate of $35 per hour and $3.00 per hour for time while on call.
