An Industrial Supplier company near Detroit, Michigan area is currently seeking for a Korean-English Bilingual Logistics Manager to join their team. This position includes out-of-states travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities of Korean-English Bilingual Logistics Manager

  • Monitor operations of multiple warehouses in US.
  • Manage and support site-level Warehouse Managers and their teams.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all locations.
  • Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and on-time delivery.
  • Analyze operational metrics (KPIs) and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Drive cost-effective practices while maintaining high service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with transportation, procurement, and customer service departments.
  • Lead warehouse audits, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations.
  • Develop budgets and manage labor, equipment, and operational costs.
  • Lead training, and development initiatives across warehouse teams.
  • Address and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications of Korean-English Bilingual Logistics Manager

  • 3-5 years of experience in warehouse /logistics operations management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration or other related major
  • Knowledge of MRP and ERP systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
  • Able to travel out-of-state up to 75%
  • Business-level in both Korean and English language skills (Reading, Speaking, Listening, Writing)
  • Strong leadership skills in a team environment and skills to bring a positive atmosphere to the team
  • Ability to be flexible to work effectively with a wide variety of people and to work responsibly and effectively in a multicultural environment
  • Excellent communication (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening) and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and perform duties time efficiently
  • Team-worker, Detail-oriented, Responsible, Punctual, Self-motivated
