About the Role:
As Kitchen Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of kitchen operations to keep our team running smoothly and our food consistently excellent. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Supervising and mentoring kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and professional environment
- Managing food production and plating to ensure every dish meets our quality standards
- Handling inventory management and ordering to minimize waste and control food costs
- Creating and adjusting staff schedules to match customer demand
- Enforcing health, safety, and sanitation standards across all kitchen areas
- Training team members on proper food handling and kitchen procedures
- Communicating with front-of-house staff and management to ensure seamless service
What We're Looking For:
You have proven experience managing a kitchen team, a strong understanding of food safety standards, and the ability to stay calm under pressure during busy service. You're organized, detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in developing your staff. Experience with homestyle or comfort food preparation is a plus.
