What you’ll be doing

1. Orders food and supplies while maintaining appropriate inventory levels
2. Maintains appropriate food/labor costs according to budget
3. Creates/maintains a friendly and enjoyable work atmosphere while still holding staff accountable to established standards and policies
4. Ensures the high-volume kitchen operates efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards
5. Builds positive and professional relationships with staff and vendors
6. Provides assistance to fellow staff in other areas as needed or requested

Skills you’ll bring along

1. Previous kitchen manager experience preferred
2. SafeServ certification preferred
3. Has a positive, friendly, cooperative attitude
4. Organized with a commitment to quality and safety
5. Able to communicate openly, honestly and professionally
6. Able to operate all areas of the kitchen as needed
7. Capable of making quick decisions and problem solving
8. Able to work Saturdays/holidays
9. Lift and/or move 10 to 30 lbs.

Job Type

1. No Sunday hours
2. Full-time position
3. Work rotating schedules including some evenings, weekends and holidays
4. On-the-job training provided
