Role Description

Kentmorr Restaurant is our Marina Restaurant located on the beach front of the Chesapeake Bay. This is an on-site, full-time Kitchen Manager role based in Stevensville, MD. The Kitchen Manager will oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking, and ensure food quality standards are met. Responsibilities include managing kitchen staff, maintaining inventory, adhering to health and safety regulations, and collaborating with leadership to optimize kitchen efficiency and maintain a positive work environment.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Food Preparation and Cooking techniques
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Food & Beverage management and Food Quality assurance
  • Expertise in Culinary Management, including supervising kitchen staff and operations
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations in kitchen environments
  • Experience managing budgets and optimizing operational efficiency
  • A degree or certification in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related fields is a plus
  • Experience in kitchen management or a similar role is highly desirable
