Job Details
As a Key Account Manager (KAM), you will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with our largest and most influential clients. You will serve as a strategic partner, focused on cross-selling, up-selling, and identifying new opportunities to grow account value. This role demands a strong business acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop tailored solutions that align with client objectives and our commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts within the tobacco industry.
Develop and implement strategic account plans to maximize revenue, profitability, and client satisfaction.
Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across the product portfolio.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, operations) to meet client needs and ensure smooth execution.
Conduct regular in-person client meetings and business reviews—travel required 50–60% of the time.
Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to inform strategic selling efforts.
Prepare detailed reports, forecasts, and account updates for senior management.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal company policies.
Proven experience in key account management, sales, or business development (tobacco or FMCG industry experience strongly preferred)
Strong understanding of strategic selling, cross-selling, and up-selling techniques
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and travel regularly
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
