Role Description (Responsibilities)
The Key Account Manager Lead will oversee strategic client relationships, ensuring high service levels while identifying growth opportunities. Key responsibilities include:
Client Relationship Management
Serve as the main contact for key pharmaceutical clients.
Build trust-based relationships and understand client needs.
Engage in client meetings, business reviews, and support other KAMs in their client work.
Reactivate lapsed accounts and assist with onboarding new clients.
Commercial & Strategic Account Management
Craft tailored strategies to increase revenue and client success.
Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
Provide distribution solutions based on client needs.
Internal Collaboration
Coordinate with operations, logistics, finance, and QA teams to deliver seamless service.
Act as a liaison to resolve challenges and improve client experience.
Performance Monitoring
Track KPIs and ensure account performance aligns with goals.
Provide reporting, client feedback, and trend analysis.
Contract Management
Lead contract negotiations and ensure compliance with policy and regulations.
Required Hard Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
5+ years of account management or sales experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industries.
Proficiency with CRM systems and performance tracking tools.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution, supply chain, and regulatory compliance.
