About the Junior Staff Accountant Role
Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is expanding its Corporate Accounting team. The Junior Staff Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager and support multiple entities across the corporate accounting function.
Junior Staff Accountant Key Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation
Process cash, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
Support monthly financial statement preparation
Maintain accurate records for fixed assets, prepaids, and intercompany transactions
Assist with special projects and ad hoc analyses
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA eligibility preferred
0–2 years of corporate accounting experience
Advanced Microsoft Office skills; ERP/accounting system experience a plus
Work Schedule
In-office, Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM (little to no overtime!)
WFH flexibility for doctor's appointments, etc.
