Junior Estimator

CBIZ Talent Solutions has been engaged by its New York City construction client to identify a Junior Estimator as a result of the growth of their company. They will support the preparation of bids and cost estimates for NYC public works projects while learning from senior estimators and project teams.
Key responsibilities (short list)
- Assist with quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and bid proposals.
- Solicit and compare subcontractor and material quotes.
- Analyze drawings/specs and help develop complete bid packages.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field staff; attend site visits as needed.
Qualifications (short list)
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required).
- 0–3 years’ experience (internships/co‑ops considered).
- Exposure to NYC public agencies (MTA, DOT, DDC, DEP) preferred.
- Strong analytical skills; proficiency with HCSS HeavyBid a plus.
Location: Bronx, NY 10474 (on‑site, full‑time) Compensation: $70,000–$95,000, commensurate with experience
