Junior Enterprise Architect

Introduction

The role supports the Enterprise Architecture (EA) function by maintaining the EA repository, enabling governance processes, and assisting senior architects in solution reviews, standards management, and architecture lifecycle activities. This position is ideal for someone early in their architecture career who is methodical, analytical, and eager to learn how enterprise architecture operates in a federated, multi-domain environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of EA concepts (TOGAF, capability modeling).
• Familiarity with SaaS platforms, cloud concepts, and integration basics.
• Experience with modeling tools (LeanIX preferred).
• Ability to interpret solution diagrams and architecture documentation.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Exposure to EA concepts or tools is a plus.
• Beneficial certifications: LeanIX Practitioner, TOGAF Foundation, Azure/AWS fundamentals.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Maintain and update application, interface, and technology fact sheets.
• Support intake and triage of solution architecture requests.
• Gather architectural inputs for projects and maintain reusable templates.
