Salary Range: $70,000 – $80,000
Overview
An organization undergoing a financial system transition is seeking a Junior Accountant to support the accounting team during a high-volume period. This role will play a key part in maintaining accuracy and continuity while the team operates across multiple systems.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Perform account reconciliations, including balance sheet accounts
- Assist with month-end close activities
- Support accounting operations across multiple systems
- Work primarily within QuickBooks while assisting during a system transition
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data
- Assist with audit preparation and supporting documentation
Top Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- 1–3+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of:
- General ledger accounting
- Journal entries and reconciliations
- Experience with QuickBooks (required)
- Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
