About the Opportunity
Our client, a growing and well-established organization, is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their accounting career to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of the accounting function. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed
- Maintain and update financial records to ensure accuracy
- Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations
- Help prepare financial reports and support audit requests
- Analyze variances and assist with resolving discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather and verify financial data
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Internship or 1+ year of accounting experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP a plus)
- Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
