Journeyman Plumber

- Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in the plumbing trade. Possession of a certification as a licensed plumber from the State of Maryland or from another state that qualifies for reciprocity in Maryland.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Class "C" driver's license with fewer than 6 points.
- Troubleshoots all leak-related problems, identifies the trouble and coordinates work with appropriate trades shop.
- Responsible for recognizing different types of piping systems and for tracing pipes back to origin of problem.
Facilities Management at the University of Maryland College Park seeks an experienced Plumber to perform plumbing work at the journey level. The Plumber will support the plumbing needs of the campus, to include maintenance of the University’s total underground and inside building distribution systems.
