Journeyman Electrician

Cedar Park Group (CPG) is seeking a journeyman-level electrician for commercial work from Queensbury to the Albany area. You must have your own tools of the trade and be ready to start.

Schedule/Shift: Day shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview

You'll support commercial electrical installations and repairs including outlets, switches, lighting, and panel work. This role requires comfort working on ladders and lifts and the ability to perform physically demanding work on active job sites.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures
• Work with electrical panels (up to 400 amp)
• Assist with material selection/handling and standard commercial installations
• Follow jobsite safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
• Perform work while climbing ladders and using lifts/scaffolding as needed

Requirements (Mandatory)

• Journeyman-level experience (minimum 4 years)
• Strong knowledge of panels, switches, outlets, lighting, and general electrical materials
• Ability to work in panels up to 400 amp
• Must have tools of the trade
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and comfortably perform physical work (ladders/lifts/jobsite movement)
