Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Jobsite Foreman with retail and/or restaurant construction experience to manage day-to-day field operations on projects in the Louisville and Indianapolis areas.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead all on-site construction activities to meet schedule, quality, and safety goals.
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and any self-perform crews, including daily planning and task assignments.
  • Read and interpret construction documents, identify conflicts, and communicate field issues promptly to the project team.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite that reflects our clients’ brand standards.
  • Conduct daily huddles and participate in short-interval/look-ahead planning.
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures and complete all required jobsite documentation.
  • Communicate regularly with the Project Manager regarding progress, manpower, materials, and changes.
  • Complete daily reports, timekeeping, photos, and punch lists using our digital tools.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, inspectors, landlords, and neighboring tenants.

What we’re looking for:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Foreman or Lead in commercial construction, with strong retail/restaurant project experience.
  • Proven ability to run small to mid-size projects or major portions of larger projects with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of interior build-outs, remodels, MEP coordination, and fast-track schedules.
  • Solid leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to hold subs accountable while maintaining good working relationships.
  • Willingness to travel within the Louisville/Indianapolis region and work nights or off-hours when required by clients.
  • Comfort using smartphones/tablets and basic construction technology for plans and reporting.
