JEWELRY/ASST OPERATIONS MGR

Support application users by providing training, resolving issues independently, or coordinating resolution with external partners, in order to exceed customer service expectations. Provide procedural support to stores, including reporting, monitoring, and researching and assisting with operational issues. Frequent independent judgments are essential. Review credit related documentation, provide store assistance, process promotional adjustments, be proactive to increase company's credit portfolio success, act as the contact liaison between Fred Meyer Jewelers and finance companies. Demonstrate the company's core values of honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

- Act in a supporting role for stores, following up on the procedures and execution for both Fred Meyer Jewelers and Fred Meyer Stores
- Assist with administration of company policies and procedures 
- Provide timely coaching, guidance, and feedback to help others excel on the job, meet key accountabilities, and strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas needed to accomplish a task or solve a problem
- Maintain open communication with all divisions departments including merchandising, distribution and operations personnel
- Respond to internal and external customer questions and concerns, including researching specific transactions
- Manage and process jewelry credit promotion requests, including researching missing information, payments, adjustments, and bankruptcy notifications
- Manage all credit related paperwork, incoming/outgoing correspondence, and credit file maintenance for stores
- Participate in appropriate user group meetings to maintain awareness of changing business needs
