Title : Java Developer W/ Kafka
Location: Chicago, IL
Salary : $60/hr-$68/hr

Introduction:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team, working on cutting-edge streaming solutions utilizing Apache Kafka. As a key player, you will collaborate with clients to design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient data streaming ecosystems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in designing and architecting solutions using Apache Kafka
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
• Experience with other Kafka platforms such as Open-source Kafka, Cloudera Kafka, AWS MSK

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
• Solid understanding of Kafka architecture and operational management
• Experience in professional services or implementation consulting for SaaS products

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of enterprise-grade streaming solutions
• Work closely with clients to understand business requirements and define integration strategies
• Guide implementation teams in building data streaming ecosystems
