Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer / API & Microservices t to lead a cross-functional development team and drive the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs and microservices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java backend development, Spring Boot, API architecture, and cloud-native applications, with proven leadership skills to guide best practices across the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Mentorship

• Lead and mentor a cross-functional development team, providing guidance on engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

API Architecture & Development

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and event-driven APIs using Java and frameworks like Spring Boot.
• Implement scalable and secure API solutions, ensuring high reliability and performance.

Collaboration & Requirements Analysis

• Partner with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical designs and specifications.

Quality Assurance & Best Practices

• Conduct code and architecture reviews, implement testing strategies (unit, integration), and troubleshoot production issues.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, design patterns, and security best practices.

Deployment & Operations

• Oversee application deployment in hybrid cloud environments using containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Security & Performance Optimization

• Implement API security measures (OAuth, JWT, OpenID Connect) and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.

Documentation

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for API endpoints, architecture, and design decisions for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• 710 years of experience in Java backend development with a strong focus on API and microservices architecture.
• Proven experience in a technical leadership or lead developer role.
• Experience in semiconductor industry or enterprise solutions for global operations is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Technical Skills:

• Languages & Frameworks: Java, Spring Boot
• API Design: REST, GraphQL; documentation with Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman
• Databases: SQL and NoSQL (Oracle, MongoDB); data modeling
• Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
• Architecture & Tools: Microservices, messaging queues (Kafka), container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
• DevOps & CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI
