IT Support Technician

Overview

The Portmeirion Group is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join our team and support the technology that powers our retail and distribution operations.

In this role, you will deliver practical solutions that ensure our office, retail, and distribution teams have the reliable tools and systems they need to succeed.

As a key member of the IT team, you will play an essential role in our operations in New Mexico.

You will also serve as the primary owner of our IT systems and asset inventory, helping to maintain a secure, efficient, and well-managed technology environment that supports our continued growth.

Location:

This is a corporate team role with 10-20% travel. This position will be based of our distribution center located in Espanola, NM with some traveling to our retail stores across the New Mexico state.

Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day technical support to warehouse operations, retail stores, and corporate users via phone, e-mail, and in person

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues

Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices

Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and access to systems

Support Microsoft 365, including email and collaboration tools

Basic Qualifications:

1–3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or similar role

Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments

Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts

Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and programming tools.

Eligible candidates must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to travel regionally
