Location: Local Sheriff’s Office (Small-Town Community)

Pay: Starting at $50,000+ annually (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated IT Specialist to support the daily technology operations of a local Sheriff’s Office. This role is ideal for candidates with entry to mid-level IT experience who are looking to grow their skills while serving their community in a law enforcement environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for computers, printers, and office equipment
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Assist with installation, setup, and maintenance of IT systems
• Support basic network operations and user account management
• Ensure systems are functioning efficiently and securely
• Respond to internal IT requests in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive law enforcement data

Requirements

• Entry-level to mid-level IT experience (help desk, desktop support, or similar)
• Basic knowledge of computer systems, networking, and troubleshooting
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
• Must be reliable, professional, and detail-oriented

Additional Requirements

• Must pass a drug screening
• Ability to work in a law enforcement environment with strict confidentiality
