Role Title: IT Specialist – Central Business Applications
Office Status: Fully onsite in the Woodlands
Number of Openings: 1
Salary: $125,000 - $130,000 per year

Must-Have Technologies:
- Servers, storage, and backups
- High availability and fault tolerance
- Disaster recovery
- Firewalls and cybersecurity best practices (not managing them, but must understand)
- Networks, subnetting, packet flow
- Active Directory & Group Policy
- Virtual desktop technologies (e.g., Azure, VMware)
- PowerShell/scripting
- Automation tools/processes
- Diagramming for system architecture
- Database design, SQL, data relationships
Responsibilities:
- Support lifecycle of global/regional strategic applications (planning through retirement)
- Maintain documentation and ensure system integrity, security, and standards
- Assist in implementation and deployment of new tech solutions
- Provide production support and coordinate with other technical teams
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to evaluate, recommend, and implement solutions
- Support follow-the-sun model during critical incidents
- Communicate effectively across regions and teams
- Deliver unit testing, training, and project support as needed
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant experience without a degree
- Strong hands-on experience in infrastructure, backups, server/storage, and disaster recovery
- Well-rounded technical skillset across core IT functions
- Some exposure to mobility, AI, and modern development practices preferred
