IT Sales Engineer

- Collaborate with cross functional teams on a variety of technical initiatives
- Rapidly research and understand unfamiliar technologies, frameworks, or tools
- Proactively seek solutions-digging into documentation, exploring new concepts, and independently troubleshooting
- Support cloud and software focused projects, ensuring technical requirements are thoroughly understood and executed
- Translate business needs into practical, scalable technical solutions
- Stay current with emerging technologies and evolving best practices
- Interface with Internal and External Customers to provide technical solutions to their business requirement needs
Requirements:
- BS degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar field would be ideal or equivalent work experience
- Hands-on IT experience (support, infrastructure, development, or similar)
- Experience in a IT Sales Engineer role or similar would be highly desired
- General familiarity with cloud technologies or modern software concepts-and the willingness to learn more
- Broad IT knowledge is a plus; no specific tech stack required
- Experience in a software company or technical environment preferred
- No certifications required
- Experience interfacing with external customers and providing them IT solutions.
- Previous software development experience
- Experience as an Applications Engineer or Sales Engineer is preferred.
- A naturally curious, resourceful mindset-someone who hunts for answers rather than waiting for direction
- Ability to operate comfortably in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Strong passion for technology and continuous learning
- C#.NET, Microsoft MVC, Entity Framework, AngularJS
- Microsoft Azure, DevOps/Jira for tracking
- Experience supporting scalable portal environments
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
