IDR is seeking a IT Project Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Louisville, Kentucky. This role involves managing a high-visibility Software Asset Management initiative within a structured enterprise IT environment. The organization operates within the healthcare and services industry, focusing on innovative IT solutions to improve operational efficiency and compliance.
Position Overview for the IT Project Manager :
- Lead planning, execution, stakeholder alignment, and delivery for a Software Asset Management implementation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, track project timelines and budgets, and work alongside vendor project managers.
- Ensure project stays aligned with scope, scope, and business objectives while driving process improvements.
- Manage resources and resolve challenges proactively to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
- Demonstrate proven success in delivering projects on time, achieving cost savings, and managing vendor relationships.
Requirements for the IT Project Manager :
- Bachelor's Degree and/or relevant experience required
- 3-5 years of experience managing projects in a professional environment
- Experience managing large scale complex IT projects is a preferred
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (PMP or equivalent certification preferred)
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and vendor co-management
