Hourly Rate: $43-52/hr

Job Description:
Our Client’s IT Project Management Office (PMO) is seeking an experienced Contract Project Manager to lead IT initiatives within our organization. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and senior leadership to drive project delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong skills in project execution, team leadership, resource and budget management, risk mitigation and problem solving, as well as the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast?paced environment. 

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects across key domains, including Application Development, Data Analytics & Business Intelligence, Network Infrastructure, and Cloud Deployments
  • Lead end?to?end project management activities, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery
    • Develop and maintain core project artifacts with appropriate business and IT stakeholders, including but not limited to project charters, scope documents, detailed schedules, cost estimates, RAID logs, and status reports
  • Manage internal and external resources throughout the project; ensure resource availability, alignment, and proper allocation in support of project timelines 
  • Monitor and measure project performance with established systems, metrics, and tools
    • Provide timely updates on issues, risks, dependencies, and pending decisions; escalate to management as appropriate
  • Manage scope and change control using defined PMO processes
    • Identify new project needs, assess impacts, and prepare action plans or change requests
  • Develop implementation strategies that effectively support business requirements and ensure a smooth transition from development to operational readiness
  • Report status and progress updates to leadership on a recurring basis
  • Facilitate project meetings
    • Ensure timely publication of meeting notes, action items, and deliverables in accordance with established schedules
  • Perform additional project?related duties as assigned to support PMO and organizational objectives
Education and Training:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, project management or related fields preferred
  • PMP certification preferred
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 5+ years of project management experience leading Technology projects in software development, data analytics, cloud implementation, etc.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (waterfall, hybrid, or agile)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate across cross?functional teams
  • Excellent communication, documentation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools
  • Experience collaborating with vendors and/or third?party service providers
