Salary Range: $100,000 - $147,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous operation and high availability of critical IT and Operational Technology (OT) systems supporting manufacturing processes.
• Manage and maintain the plant's network infrastructure, servers, and cybersecurity measures to protect production data and systems.
• Lead the implementation, integration, and optimization of manufacturing-specific software (e.g., MES, ERP, WMS) and automation systems.
• Provide timely technical support and incident resolution for IT/OT issues, minimizing production downtime.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans tailored for the manufacturing environment.
• Oversee IT vendor relationships and procurement of hardware/software to optimize manufacturing operations.
• Ensure data integrity, backup, and recovery strategies for all manufacturing-related data.

Recommended Qualifications

• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with manufacturing IT systems (ERP, MES, SCADA, IoT).
• Proven expertise in IT infrastructure management, including networking, servers, cloud services, and cybersecurity for IT/OT environments.
• Strong leadership and project management skills to lead IT teams and drive digital transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to align IT strategy with manufacturing business objectives for operational efficiency and production support.
• Experience with IT vendor management, budget oversight, and compliance frameworks relevant to manufacturing.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SCADA, or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor).
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts, IoT, and operational technology (OT) integration.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with cybersecurity protocols and best practices for Industrial Control Systems (ICS) or OT environments.
