Role Summary
We are seeking an accomplished IT Integration Developer to design and implement cloud-first integration solutions that power automation, AI-enhanced insights, and seamless data movement across complex enterprise environments. This role ensures that critical systems communicate reliably and securely across multi-cloud and on-premises platforms.

You will architect and build APIs, event-driven services, and middleware components that adhere to enterprise governance standards. In partnership with architects, product teams, and business stakeholders, you will enable digital modernization initiatives ranging from API delivery to platform migrations and AI-enabled workflow optimization. Your work will directly enhance system performance, observability, and the overall integration architecture.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement cloud-native integrations and APIs that meet enterprise standards for performance, security, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to translate requirements into well-structured integration designs and technical specifications.
  • Build and optimize synchronous, asynchronous, and event-driven integrations using technologies such as Apache Kafka.
  • Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot issues, manage incidents, and support upgrades and middleware enhancements.
  • Execute modernization initiatives, including API enablement, cloud migration of middleware, and AI/ML integration for intelligent automation.
  • Implement and maintain observability capabilities—logs, metrics, and tracing—across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
  • Partner with enterprise architects, application teams, and product owners to ensure alignment between business needs, AI-driven insights, and technical architecture.
  • Evaluate and recommend integration technologies, including APIs, messaging platforms, ESB/iPaaS solutions, and cloud integration tools.
  • Contribute to integration standards, reusable components, and best practices for security, governance, and quality.
  • Stay current with emerging cloud integration, generative AI, and automation technologies to support continuous improvement.
Key Requirements
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in API design, API management, and enterprise system integration.
  • Strong expertise in microservices, SOA, event-driven patterns, and cloud-based integration architectures.
  • Deep experience with integration platforms/tools such as IBM Integration Bus, MuleSoft, Boomi, Kong, WebSphere MQ/ESB, Apache Kafka, AWS API Gateway, or Azure API Management.
  • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and Node.js, with familiarity in Spring, Hibernate, JEE, and JMS.
  • Strong understanding of data formats (JSON, XML, CSV, YAML, EDI) and enterprise databases (DB2, Oracle).
  • Hands-on experience implementing observability (logs, metrics, tracing), API governance, and security practices.
  • Demonstrated success working in Agile/SCRUM environments with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple integration tools and rapidly master existing implementations to support migration efforts.
  • Preferred: Experience in financial services, cloud modernization/integration initiatives, AI/ML technologies, workflow optimization, cost efficiency strategies, or IT risk management.
