CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a IT IMS Analyst.

 

Type: Contract
Job Title: IT IMS Analyst
Location: Glendale, AZ
Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Glendale, AZ
Pay Rate: Based on experience
Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Education: Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related discipline preferred, but not required

 

Description
• Analyst responsible for Integrated Manufacturing Systems (IMS) support and solution delivery within a manufacturing environment.
• Support and maintain IMS, MES platforms, and MS SQL-based reporting and analytics solutions (SSRS/SSAS).
• Ensure physical and cyber security of internal IT systems by monitoring risks and implementing approved remediation actions.
• Design, develop, test, and implement hardware and software solutions aligned with business and production needs.
• Assist with deployment, configuration, and ongoing support of manufacturing IT systems, including both software applications and hardware components.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document system requirements.
• Review, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to system changes and application performance.
• Provide oversight and coordination of external or contracted development resources.
• Monitor system outputs and solution quality to ensure alignment with defined specifications and operational standards.
• Diagnose and resolve complex application and system issues with potential business impact.
• Apply software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies where applicable.

 

Requirements
• Hands-on experience supporting IMS/MES systems in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities across applications and infrastructure.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver solutions in a timely manner.

 

Qualifications
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including complex query development, views, triggers, stored procedures, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS.
• Strong proficiency in software development using .NET, ASP, C++, and C#.
• Ability to independently design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and document technical solutions.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical status and issues to leadership and business users.
• Proven ability to estimate effort, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Experience working directly with end users to define and refine system requirements.

• Mobile Device Management (MDM) experience for Android-based solutions (Zebra devices preferred).
• Experience with MES platforms such as Camstar/Opcenter, SAP S/4HANA, PAC, or similar enterprise systems is a plus.
• Prior experience supporting manufacturing production systems, including both software and hardware solutions, is highly desirable.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience required; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.
• Self-starter with demonstrated ownership of deliverables and deadlines.
• Fluent verbal and written English communication skills required.'
