JOB DESCRIPTION
IT Business Analyst – Flexible Customer Payments
General Summary
The IT Business Analyst for the Flexible Payments Program will play a critical role in shaping the future payment solutions for our client's customers. This role requires a blend of business acumen, technical knowledge in S/4HANA, S/4HANA cloud environment, and a keen understanding of payment trends to drive initiatives that enhance the customer payment experience, efficiency and operability in an integrated architecture leveraging SAP technology (i.e. SAP Digital Payments).
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Own business processes from the IT perspective while being the focal point for internal and external customers to identify business needs.
- Drive requirements gathering by engaging with stakeholders, including business users, product owners, and technical teams to identify, document, and validate requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and convert them into functional requirements and technical specifications.
- Recommend improvements, enhancements and scalable solutions around Flexible Payments.
- Successfully ship the company's product increments (additions or enhancements in the product or systems) to their markets by actively participating in all stages of the product release process.
- Ensure the stability, reliability and performance of the company's product post-implementation by troubleshooting and working with technical teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Be part of a highly motivated and professional team owning the initiative to drive the customer payment experience based on scalable, secure and compliant set-up, thereby contributing directly to the company strategy.
- Grow your process, functional and technical experience in the areas of Payment Process for Customers, Finance (AR, AR-Settlement process, Bank Accounting and Payment run), Sales and Distribution (Order entry, Billing), interfaces / integration with external systems (e.g. SAP DP, SAP CCP, SAP API Management, SAP Business Technology Platform), PCI DSS knowledge and debugging skills in ABAP.
- Document technical specifications and business processes to ensure standards and requirements are met by conducting quality assurance tests.
- Recommend business process improvements, solve business problems, and create innovative solutions to enable business excellence.
- Design global solution concepts and architectures while validating technical and business process feasibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or other relevant education, required.
- 6 to 8 years’ experience as an IT Business Analyst.
- Good understanding of business process in SD or FICO, in the context of a globally operating enterprise. Strong business and IT literacy.
- Ability to work independently and proactively with limited supervision or technical direction by demonstrating initiative to seek answers to relevant business questions
- Broad general knowledge of current and relevant information technology including hardware, software, and programming languages
- Very strong ability to connect with global partners to build bonds, inspire, influence, and accomplish goals in a challenging global organization
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to translate business requirements into IT language and vice versa.
- High commitment, self-responsibility, and customer orientation.
- Experience in working in an international/virtual/geographically dispersed team.
