About the Role

  • We are seeking an experienced IT Architect to lead and collaborate with development teams on various projects.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development principles, cloud technologies, and security principles.
  • Certec Consulting offers a competitive hourly rate of $88 for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, scheduling of team resources, status reporting, and completion of documentation for team assignments and projects.
  • Analyze and develop work or project plans for team assignments.
  • Supervise the work assignments of subordinates.
  • Coordinate the integrated systems integrity, provide coordination, communication, and project structure between users of Information Services and third-party software vendors or programmers.
  • Develop and control project schedules, and assign responsibilities where appropriate.
  • Participate in all aspects of software development, systems design and analysis, and project planning and management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related specialty from an accredited college or university.
  • 10 years of job-specific experience that includes system analysis, design and development, and relationship management.
  • Understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in various programming languages.
  • Experience with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of database design and data modeling.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of security principles.
  • Familiarity with architectural styles (e.g., microservices, monolithic, client-server) and design patterns.
