About the Role
- We are seeking an experienced IT Architect to lead and collaborate with development teams on various projects.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development principles, cloud technologies, and security principles.
- Certec Consulting offers a competitive hourly rate of $88 for this position.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, scheduling of team resources, status reporting, and completion of documentation for team assignments and projects.
- Analyze and develop work or project plans for team assignments.
- Supervise the work assignments of subordinates.
- Coordinate the integrated systems integrity, provide coordination, communication, and project structure between users of Information Services and third-party software vendors or programmers.
- Develop and control project schedules, and assign responsibilities where appropriate.
- Participate in all aspects of software development, systems design and analysis, and project planning and management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related specialty from an accredited college or university.
- 10 years of job-specific experience that includes system analysis, design and development, and relationship management.
- Understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in various programming languages.
- Experience with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of database design and data modeling.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of security principles.
- Familiarity with architectural styles (e.g., microservices, monolithic, client-server) and design patterns.
