Artistic Treeworks is seeking an experienced ISA Certified Arborist to step into a leadership role as our Operations Manager / Estimator.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead & Manage Crews: Plan, schedule, and oversee daily operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and to company standards
  • Arboricultural Expertise: Perform tree assessments, diagnose pests and diseases, and develop effective treatment and maintenance plans
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce company safety policies, ANSI standards, and equipment protocols; conduct safety meetings and job-site hazard assessments
  • Estimating & Client Relations: Meet with residential and commercial clients, prepare estimates and proposals, and resolve customer concerns professionally
  • Training & Mentorship: Train and mentor crew members, support certification advancement, and promote professional growth
  • Operational Efficiency: Track job performance, improve productivity, and assist with operational reporting and budgeting

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on arboriculture experience (climbing, rigging, removals, PHC)
  • ISA Certified Arborist – required
  • TRAQ and/or CTSP – strongly preferred
  • Deep knowledge of tree biology, local species, soil science, and common pests/diseases
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Physically capable of demanding outdoor work, including climbing and working at heights
