Iron Worker

HM Staffing is seeking an experienced and dependable Iron Worker to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with structural steel erection, connecting, rigging, and working at heights. Safety, reliability, and strong teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Erect and install structural steel, beams, columns, and joists

• Bolt, weld, and connect steel components

• Read and interpret blueprints and structural drawings

• Rig, hoist, and guide steel components into place

• Install metal decking and reinforcing materials

• Follow all OSHA and company safety standards

• Work at heights using lifts, ladders, and safety harnesses

Qualifications:

• Previous iron worker or structural steel experience required

• Ability to read blueprints and layout plans

• Experience with connecting, bolting, welding, and rigging

• Comfortable working at heights

• Strong knowledge of job site safety practices

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to pass drug screening and background check (if required)
